Straight Pipes and CAI.

I was wanting some input on this configuration. I am thinking about going with straight pipes and a cold air intake and had a few questions.

I realize I will get a little HP gain with a good CAI but what about the straight pipes?

Will straight pipes be too loud for a daily driver?

I am not gonna do any mods that will void the warranty and I know these won't after talking to my service manager. Tune and headers can wait until it is out of warranty.

I installed the Magnaflow Comp Series 2.5in catback exhaust. It is an encased x-pipe with no mufflers. It sounds great at WOT and not annoying during normal cruising. I would assume your set up would sound similar. Hope this helps.

I have that exact setup. They call it the muffler delete. Look it up on youtube. It has a small drone inside above 1900rpm. By no means is it unbearable. I communte 45 miles each way everyday to work. I love the sound and it is what a Camaro should sound like.

I have a CAI and muffler delete. Perfect level of sound. It's loud, but sounds great! No drone at all, but the deceleration popping is a pain in my ass right now. I'm going to get it tuned out.
