What are some good 20" rim/tire ideas?

Ok, I am a complete noob when it comes to tires and rims. I've got a black LS with the herritage wheels/tires. I am thinking I like the look of black 20" rims. What are some good brands and is there anything that I really need to know before getting them? All information will be helpful. Thank you in advance.

There are literally thousands of wheels available for the Camaro. In order to point you in the right direction, we need to know your target budget to stay under. Then, give us some ideas about what styles you like. 5-spoke, mesh spoke, 10-spoke, etc...

Browse the links in my signature, all of them can custom build 2010 Camaro wheels.

Thanks,
Tony

What is the price range your willing to spend for wheels/tires? That will help narrow it down. Do you want ultra light race wheels or just for looks?

There are so many styles too, is there a particular style you like?
I personally am waiting for TSW Nurgurring RFs to come out. They are a web pattern and come in black and gunmetal finish.

Ok, I want black, preferably 5 spoke. 20", more or less I'm just going for looks. I'm looking to stay under $1600 for wheels and tires.

Good luck on finding something for that price... Heck, even "cheap" tires will run you $800 and that would only leave you a budget of $200 per a wheel.

My suggestion would be to either save up and do it right or find a used set of factory 20" inch take-off wheels.

There are factory Camaro SS takeoff's WITH tires available for that price or less. A set was sold with tires, 200 miles, no nicks/scratches for $1200 here in DFW area. Remove the tires and powder-coat the wheels the way you want and remount. What do you think? Good Luck

Thanks Sack Rat, I've found a set of brand new 20" RS wheels and tires on ebay for $1000. I'm trying to decide between getting them and powder coating black or the MR107s I like. Anyhow, good info.

You will have trouble buying wheels and tires for that price point. Heck, tmps alone run 300 dollars not counting the cost of mounting the tires.

Save up your money.

Do not buy other RS wheels and powder coat them. Find someone in your area and be done with it for 400 dollars.

You basically said the same thing...Anyhow, I've made another thread on the rims I think I've decided on. Should stay under budget or close to it.
