Spoiler company z28 convertible spoiler

I just installed a z28 spoiler on my 13 zl1 from a shop called, the spoiler company from eBay.
I paid to have it pre-painted GBA only $249 shipped. I have to say the thing looks great. The fit and paint were perfect. Also it was really easy to put the convertible antenna into it, since all the cutouts where there.

much better than the zl1 convertible spoiler. plus the antenna slides right back in. The hardest part was removing the antenna from the factory spoiler. Those little torx t15 screws were so tight i twisted 2 1/4" t15 bits. had to go buy a t15 screwdriver.

Does it change the air flow from behind with the top down at highway speed? just curious..

I have no idea yet. It’s winter here in western ny and the car is not going out anytime soon. I’ll find out in may.

It sucks. We really only get 5 good months to use our toys here. One of the reasons i sold my cbr1000rr.

The spoiler is so different from the factory convertible one, that I’m sure it does change the airflow out back. Possibly more downforce at speeds.

The spoiler is so tall I just was curious if that changed the dynamics of the wind coming from the back. I would imagine the downforce is Multiplied at that height! Looks good man.

Yes i have done a lot to the car this summer. I never did post any dyno #’s from my last tune. I’m currently at 726hp and 704 tq. My next winter mod is to send my heads out to Katech and have the heads ported then a retune.
