Boston speakers

I was just curious to hear some feed back on people who have the upgraded Boston speakers in there camaros. How does it sound? Is it worth it?

Cheers,
Chris

No need to apologize.

The mere fact there have been so many threads regarding the Boston Accustics is telling.

I will say that it seems that mine has "broken in". I thought it needed more bottom end, but now it seems to be doing much better in that area. I for one am glad I got it....

I've blown mine already...

6 months in the car, 8k miles. Anything over 35 on the volume, and you'll blow em.

What the hell were you listening to over 35?

I didn't really have the choice on an 'upgrade' or not as I bought mine off the lot and didn't order it. I haven't had any problems with them and enjoy them.

Audio system change out

Replaced the front and rear speakers with JL Audio coax, added a JL HD 900 amplifier and subwoofer.

Awesome sound difference

No, no need to apologize. There has just been a lot of BA bashing going on, and I thought this would bring a whole new wave. You can't please all the people all the time. The BA system is fine for what it is, a factory installed audio system. I for one have no complaints.

I think sounds beautiful, and I'm no stranger to the audio world. Very crisp, very clear, and it maintains that clarity up into the high volume levels wonderfully!

It doesn't excel in Bass delivery vs an aftermarket system...but I like to keep my eardrums and hear ALL the music, so it's perfect.

One opinion...worth about () that much...

Chili Peppers. Sabotage...

Windows down, hawty in the car, cruising through Seattle on a late Summer day... Peppers on... why not crank it up to 35?

Till the rears blow... what a shame.

I upgraded mine to JL audio and I will say it sounds much better. If you are planning to add the BA system as a Upgrade. I would save My dollars and go aftermarket.
