Question Interior LED light conversion kit

Anybody using the light kit from AAC? I am getting the gray interior & from the pictures on AAC's site, the blue almost looks like a black light & seems to really set off the lighter gray area of the interior. Would love to hear fro anyone who has one of their light kits installed....Thanks

Yup -- I have the LED Blue light in the dome light, and also wired up a set of 15" Blue light tubes in the footwell: I think it looks pretty cool....

Can you tell me why you choose the 15"L over the 12"L style.
And what if any, is the difference other than 3" inches...
I am gonna order mine. But I would just like to know why?

Thanks, Bone

I just installed the White lights, very easy install. Advanced Automotive Concepts was easy to order from, and they shipped fast too. The light makes the inside look nice, it does not have that dull yellowy look now. Here are some pictures (sorry for the iphone pics) of the interior and trunk;

Install was probably a couple of hours, once I kind of knew what I was doing. I wrote up the directions on this thread http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53447

A guy at the end found a way to connect to the dome light from under the dash, which is the last post. Would make sense to connect it there. The hardest part for me was the wiring to the dome light itself and his find simplifies that - although i did wire my passport radar detector permanently while the dome light fitting was down - i found a wire that came on with ignition - so ended doing 2 jobs at the same time - so it worked out well for me...

No real reason -- I measured first and found the 15" would fit and I don't think it was that much difference in price. I don't think an extra 3 inches would matter.... Its how it lights up that counts

Did the blue dome and foot wells. Connecting to the under dash wiring was very easy with a T-Tap connection.

I got the amber dome and trunk lights. I wish they were a little brighter, but I like'em just the same.
