Exhaust from Kinney's Muffler Shop in DFW area

A shop in Hurst that I have done business with in the past has come up with a system for the V6 that I am considering and wanted to see what everyone thinks about it compared to the other systems out there as far as sound and price. This shop has done work on a truck and corvette for me and other vehicles for friends in the past and they do excellent work. Their workmanship is top notch and I don't consider going anywhere else when I need exhaust work done. Below I will paste what he emailed me about it and a link to a video. He has a surround system in his showroom so I plan on going by there this week to hear it there.

The system consist of an x-pipe, two "bullet" style resonators, a set of rear mount Flowmaster Super 44 series mufflers and is finished off with a beautiful set of "edge-welded" 4 inch stainless steel tips. We have minimum low frequency resonation issues that have not been of concern to any customers of yet. We believe the system will see horsepower improvements of around 12 hp. possibly more as we await customer feedback. The systems are priced @ $775.00 installed plus tax, lifetime warranty.

Sounds like a deeper, hollowed out version of the stock exhaust. I dunno, doesn't do it for me. Definitely a unique sound for an aftermarket system, its good to have some variations out there.

Thanks for posting the vid.

are the pipes mandrel bent? its hard to tell in the video. I think they might have a kink in them, but with the paint it blends in good.
