MTI Racing Dyno Pull

Check out the dyno results for our stage 1 camshaft and American Racing Header system installed in a customers 2010 Camaro with the automatic transmission. At MTI Racing, we refer to this as the "Un-Cam" because it drives almost exactly like stock. This camshaft is designed specifically to take advantage of the awesome airflow potential of the LS3 cylinder head. Subsequent testing has revealed that it is also an excellent choice for L99 equipped automatic transmission Camaros. This camshaft can also be installed in an manuel car for even more HP and Torque.

We also installed the MTI Racing Sport Lowering Springs along with our Swaybars for 2010 Camaro. Not only does this Camaro scream down the quarter mile but it also takes the turns with authority.

I also want to thank Michael for bringing his Camaro over and letting us thrash on it a bit. He was very happy with the results. Hey Michael let me know when you are ready for that supercharger.

I don't know about L99s (power with cams), but I made 95 rwhp with headers, intake, cam, and a tune on my LS2 GTO.

And I'm very interested in that MTI cam. I like the idea of a mild/sleeper type cam that makes good hp.

i want a cam, i love the exhaust sound and the hp gains. but i want one that doesn't make the drivability worst, even worst gas milage or a horrible drone at cruising speeds

MTI, Is this a VVT cam or did you swap the L99 into an LS3? I'd like to add a cam to get more power without adding boost. Is this just like a regular cam swap or do you need to pull the motor? Thanks for your help.

Stage 1 Cam

The Stage 1 Cam was designed to be used with the stock torque converter in the L99 based Camaro, and as you can see it makes terrific power in that application. However, this cam can be used and makes awesome power in the LS3 based engine as well. This camshaft, although it is our stage 1 works fantastic with headers and our CIA as demonstrated above. If you are thinking of supercharging your Camaro this cam works perfectly with the Magnuson TVS2300 supercharger system as well as any other supercharger or turbo to make excellent power and keep the everyday drivability intact. Let me know if you have any questions.
