anyone scratch their bumper going up their driveway

I have a steep driveway, and im scared that my camaros bumper will be scratched when it goes up the driveway??? i measured my moms equinox and she has 10in of clearance and when she goes up the driveway shes like an inch away from toching the ground. im wondering if my camaro will have an issue> Thanks

You can always inch it up while someone watches to tell you when to stop if it hits.

yeah thats true...i intend on doing that, im just so worried that if it does scratch, i mean a little scratch is ok but scraping on the concrete is not good for me. if i cant get it up my driveway i wont be able to clean it, change my oil. ahhh the pain.. thanks for your input!

Come at it at an angle and take it slow. I always had to do this with certain driveways with all my Camaros.

That's a steep driveway even an SUV is cutting it close.

yeah alot of people recommended that to me, i hope i can acomplish this. unfortunately my driveway is very very narrow which means that i cant come in it with too big of an angle

yeah it is an it really sucks because there is nothing we can do about it, weve tried to see if we can get it paved and in order to drop the slope we would have to extend the driveway into the street. which obviously cant happen.

im just worried about scratching it.

I was wondering if this was a problem with the fifth gens. I know the fourth gens bottomed out easily, although not as easily as the third gens. I always thought it wouldn't be bad with the short front overhang of the new gens.

haha thats thats a good idea although i tested it out with a honda civic and the honda civic scratches and it's bumper is higher up than a camaro...good idea lol

going in at an angle helps friend has Corvettes same problem hits the driveway at an angle.
can the drive way be terraced meaning drop the entry to the driveway kinda like long steps , then go to the lext level so on let me know if this works sounds like a big project
