Need Help. BA Amp Sub Install - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I want to try and do this myself. I have searched and searched. Anyone have the time to run me through it?

What color wire do I splice into for the remote cable?

Do I just splice into the sub + and - cables for the 1 12" that I have?
Do I use both left and right?

Sorry for being a newb. I have a friend doing the install and he "thinks" he knows what he's doing. I want to QA it and give him actual info.

I located the amp, and notice 3 connectors to it. I narrowed them down to the two larger ones with the tons of wires for the cab speakers. The smaller one has the power and ground. He wants to run the remote from the blue wire on this connector.

Sorry for bugging...just don't want to tear my car up. I've had "pro's" install on all my other cars and they seem to just tear my cars up. Not doing that again.
