Upgrade Wheels

Has anyone in the DMV changed form their factory rims to customs rims yet? I have seen a few in the area but all with some version of the stock wheels.

Thinking about getting customs wheels and was wondering where I could find some local shops to go and shop around at. I've seen many nice looking wheels on the forum and plenty of vendors with deals but I really would like to see some of these wheels in person first and maybe save on shipping if I can get them locally.

So if anyone as upgraded their wheels and know of any good DMV area shop where I could go check out some good wheels please let me know.

Thanks

No One!

So no one in the DMV area has upgraded their stock rims yet, will I be the first?

Or is this thread just useless. I thought this would be someting everyone was interested in, rims are always one of the first things to change.

You do know you can get up to 10 mor HP by changing rims right.

I'm taking my ball and going home, you guys don't want to play!

Hey snoopster I actually called this shop and one of the guys working there told me they are having a huge sale on Lexani wheel right now and I was quite shocked at the price he quoted me.

It was so good I'm actually going there tomorrow to check out this shop and see if these offeres stand once I am there ready to buy.

Don't want to put the price he quoted me on the board but let me know if you are interested and I will PM you what he told me.

Do you know anything about this shop or just something you saw in passing. The price is so good I'm just wondereing if it's on the up and up.

Thanks again for the info.

Ive seen acouple camaros around the area with upgraded wheels mostly DUBS lol I saw a black one with huge chrome dubs and I wanted to die lol.

Personally I love the factory wheels but if your upgrading dont go to big on the rims size.

I dont wanna see any camaros rolling around here lookin like this

lol..I saw this same picture today when messing around on the internet and wondered if it was actually real! I plan on staying at stock size rims 20x8.5 and 20x10 so nothing to big for me.

Since I haven't had any of these lexani rims before what should I watch out for to make sure they are authentic?:(

This is why I want to visit their shop and make sure it appears on the up and up. Being able to look someone in the eye when talking to them goes a long way if a person knows that you could be back if they mess you over; not the same as ordering wheels from across the country.

What would be the going rate for Lexani rims?

If you know of any area shops with quality rims let me know and thanks for the input.

Have not thought about rims as of yet. Know a buddy at work that orders his tires and rims online all the time. If he is at work tonight I'll get site name and pm ya info. That pic with the big rims needs to be banned from being posted. I everytime I see it.....
