Question Anyone with an A6 2SS who did a MAST Cam

We are running into a problem with my car where the phase limiter is putting more degrees than is being called for. For example, when it calls for 18 it is giving 24.

My tuner is at a loss of what to do and was hoping someone here may have some guidance on how it can be corrected.

Also getting a P0011 code

Thanks!

There are 3 cam tables based on barometric pressure...maybe not looking at the correct table??

What software is he using?

If using HP Tuners go to the Engine tab, then the Spark Control tab, then go to the bottom of the middle column and click on the Variable Cam Spark table. It adds timing.

If you are using EFI Live go to Engine Operation, then Spark, then General, then Cam Phaser Timing.

If you need a screen shot let me know.

Actually it seems as if the cam is changing timing constantly - floating so to speak. MAST motorsports guys said to use 15W-40 oil

Well - going back to the shop, motor is getting ripped down, VVT is getting taken out, AFM is getting taken out, valve springs changed out.
So...
If anyone wants to donate some money to get me to pinks all out in time I'd appreciate it Sponsors who want stickers on my car at the event are welcome to help

Contact Matt @ Tune Time Performance (732) 349-7800. He has that on his show car so I am sure he can help.

Matt@TuneTime sent me the tune for the Mast Stage II VVT cam we installed and we have had no problems. The car made 468 tq / 463 hp and 811 tq / 685 hp with a 200 shot.

Call Matt and he can set you straight.

how is the tune going to stop the cam deviation? Especially when the tables have been zero'd already?
