aquamist vs snow (methanol kits)

Hey guys, I'm going to add a methanol kit to my SC install, I just don't know which one to go with. A friend told me that AQUAMIST makes the best and more advance methanol kits in the market, but most guys I've seen with methanol, are using the SNOW kit. So I have no idea on which one is the best one. I need your help guys... So is it SNOW or AQUAMIST…

THANKS!!!

thanks for the great information. The truth is that it's hard to make up your mind because all of the kits look awesome.

With a SC and a methanol kit, how much more aggresive can you get when tuning?

Either some kind of boost, or way high compression, like better then 12.4:1.

well if you have a tvs, its not worth it, higher boost means lots of hot air.

I have the snow kit on my car and it is a super nice complete kit. You can get methanol and most any performance shops or fuel suppliers in your area. You can also order Boost Juice that is availabe thru Summit or Snow and other places. What are you really wanting the methanol kit for? I used it on my build as a safety feature more than a performance feature. I also set my car up so that I can choose to run the methanol all the time or not run it at all. I did not want to build my engine so that it is tuned and dependent on the methanol at all times. I can definitely speak for the snow kit to be impressive.

I live in Mexico and gasoline here is only 91 octanes, so I'm looking for a safe way to install a SC and still be somewhat aggressive with the tune. I think meth could help us do this. Another thing I'm not sure is how to do the tune. One way is to tune the car without the meth, keeping the car somewhat reach and injecting the meth when at WOT or do the tune with meth all the time.

There is also AlkyControl and Devil's Own for methanol injection. Check them out on Google.

Most tracks sell methanol along with most other VP fuels.
