HID Headlamp Noise? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey all, this is my first car equiped with HID headlamps. I noticed that when I have the lights on and switch them to highbeam it makes a noise. This noise happens EVERY TIME I switch them to high. It's hard to explain the sound, it's not really a thump. Can someone with the HID lights test this out in their car and let me know if theirs makes any noise. Thanks in advance.

Thats just from the projector itself shifting from low beam to high beam. The low beam and high beam are in the same housing.

ok, it sounded like something mechanical, ya know moving. So then it is nothing to worry about, thats the way it's suppose to be.
