I am almost about to pull the trigger
I found a dealer that will sell me at invoice , someone posted 1SS invoice at 31,500 or close. I am hearing 32585 is invoice. Which is correct? He will give me all options at invoice also.
Now I would like to know more about 1ss from owners. Will an automatic spin from a stop? Also when shifting manual auto does it shift by itself before redline or lose power if you hit redline. I ask because my BMW 135i shifts for you if you are to slow and it hits redline. Is this car fast enough to play with the like of an BMW M 3, niss 370z, I would assume it way slower then a vette. I love the way the cars looks and test drove 1, I am just unsure,I am going to drive it again this sat. I seem like it lost power on shifting the auto trand at redline, I don't think it shifts for you. I was beating on the car and chilled out after my last power run so dealer that was in car did not say anything. Sorry for the long post but need help. Not to void the warrantee what can make this car faster, I am told all the have is cold air pke or something like that i think he sais at near 400 bucks and someone said muffler from ax back wond give HP.THANKS GUYS. |

I would check with a dealer on the forums. They can help you find out if you're getting a good price and if you're not, they can ship you a car.

A 1ss without anything but an automatic transmission is $32,790
without the destination charges it is $31,940 The vette and camaro have the same engine, so i wouldn't say the vette is way faster but it is faster. |

We've got a couple in stock if you're looking for something soon. Fly on in and pick it up. Nice 8-9 hour ride home with your new car.

Seriously, dude, check with BeckyD, CamaroScotty and the other dealers on the Camaro5 forum. They have a track record of being upfront, honest, and rooting for the customer. I wouldn't be posting this if I hadn't been reading customers' comments for half a year. They won't steer you wrong. Sales reps want your money, of course, but don't they deserve to make a living too??? The trick is to find one that can make a living without shafting the customer. BeckyD and CamaroScotty are those kind of reps. So call them. I'll state right now that I am not affiliated with any dealer on this site, so gain nothing by making that recommendation.
Speaking personally, driving the 2010 Camaro is almost a religious experience. Yeah, crazy statement... but... I've driven a Corvette and enjoyed it. I drive my Camaro and LOVE it!!! What a rush, and what an experience. Call them and keep us posted!

Yup. I was showing off with the tap shiffters to my brother-in-law and went through first gear forgetting I put it in Sport Mode and it was an epic fail. Tac went up and came right back down when I hit the limiter.

By normal setting, you mean.......?
I just put it in 'M', hit the left paddle to put it in first gear, and gassed on it. |

SRY guys its a 2 ss that was a mistype on the 1ss. OK from the looks of things I think my 32,587 is invoice I saw a price posted on this form at like 31,500 I think invoice went up from an old post.
I think 32,587 is a great price and at invoice manual trans before I put my options in like auto ,sunroof and a few more at invoice as quoted. Ok seems like I need to drive it again. I was very unsure of the power in the car on my 1st drive but loved everything else. I am not really worried about the sales person comming with me on my test drive but would allow me to let loose knowing hes not there. I guess I will just do my thing until he says something then let him say something again. Plus I like to have a feel for the car when playing around without messing up someone elses stuff. |
