Exclamation Camaro Keyless entry not working

Just tonight neither one of the key fobs will work at all. They worked this morning and even as late as 6pm when my fiancee locked the doors. Just now she said hers wouldn't unlock the car so I brough mine out and it won't work either. I had to use the key to open the door and then had to turn the car on to turn the alarm off. Anyone know why both would stop working all of the sudden?

I'd take her to the dealer.

Take your car back to the dealer to have that worked out.
Post pics of your fiancé to appease the masses.

It's a win/win situation, really.

Keyfob

I had my key fob not work yesturday. I tried both sets, nothing. I thought, do I have the right Camaro, RJT. Mine had a sun roof, I had to use the key to unlock it, then when I opened the door, the alarm went off.....had to get the key in to shut off the alarm. It started ok. Then when I tried to make it do the same thing, it would not. When my Camaro key fob didn't work yesturday, I had my cell phone on, a new cell phone. Thinking that the cell phone was interfering with the keyfob, I shut my cell off. When I was at home, the door would unlock. It was weird to have it not unlock. When my Camaro didn't unlock, I had flash back to when I was out shopping with my dad and went to the wrong truck. LOL.

I don't know if this is the same as my old Viper system in my DD. But I had that happen to me a couple of times with my old system, and I figured out what was happening. With the Viper system, each time you press the button, it sends out a signal, then rolls the code frequency (so that would be thieves don't steal the code and retransmit it). I had the keys in my pocket when I went into a store. Apparently something in my pocket was hitting the buttons, causing the code to transmit and roll several times. When I got back to the car, my FOB and Car were "out-of-sync". The FOB would not unlock the car because the car expected the next code frequency to be within a certain sequence, which my FOB had passed. So I had to keep hitting the FOB button until it cycled and re-synced with the car.

Maybe the Camaro Security System is similar?

similar thing happened with my Avalanche. It worked for about a minute after getting out, but would not work after that... would reset and work next time I got out for about a minute but wouldn't work after that..... and so on... dealer had to replace something and I got new fobs.

Were both doors closed all the way? It happened to me before on my truck when one of the doors wasn't completely shut.

When I leave in my Camaro, I have to shut the trunk before hand. Because the button has been hit. When I put on my shoes or boots, I have learned to take out my FOB and then put my shoes on or I hear my horn going off.
