New engine cover work (50%) done, SS on stereo box - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

STill have more to do on the engine cover but its gonna look awesome. Im adding a raised factory bowtie and aluminum functional heat sinks. Im Going with the Tri Bar badge theme through the car, engine cover, grill and I even built a smaller on for the port on the sub box. Its all hand cut using a high tech jigsaw and files and then wetsanded and polished, my camera is shit but when its all done ill take better ones. The heatsinks on the engine cover will be 4 u channel strips per opening. In the lower part of the U Ill paint red, then white then blue. As you look at the cover from the side it will be all polished aluminum but head on youll see the color in the heat sinks. I have to relocate the heater hoses and remove that other cover on the intake.

That's looking nice...get a carbon fiber cover for under it and it'll be perfect!
