Halo wiring

This has probably been beat to death but my question is, when wiring my dual color halos on my 2SS, what wires are other members tapping into for the 12v? I want to place the switch on the drivers side of the console and I was wondering if there are any convienant places to tap in to?

Why not connect them to the headlight power? Look at the wiring diagram page 1 & top of page 2

This would allow them to be on anytime since you can turn on the headlights anytime (car on or off). They should also go out if you leave them on (I think)...

If it was just one color I would do that but these switch back and forth from red to white.

I suggest getting the remote. It is cheap and keeps you from running the wire through the firewall.

It gives you several other options too. You have 8 different brightness settings and a flicker setting along with one that comes on bright and falls off over and over.

This weekend when AAC does the install on my daughter's car they will be putting in the remote system.
