Can I Use DiabloSport Predator #U7194? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys, I recently bought a Diablosport Predator part U7194. I plugged this into my car and it said that the vehicle is not supported. I drive a 2010 Camaro SS Automatic, so I just wanted to make sure, will it work on my car? If not, what do you recommend I do?

Did you buy it new or used?

Yes it will you just have to update it to the latest firmware. You need the pc interface kit.

9R14Crom also download ds downloader and read the directions section.

I bought it used, and I tried updating the predator by going to the diablosport website and uploading the new 9r14 crom. It starts uploading, but towards the end it says not responding and then the predator says transfer failed.

what revision is on it now??

when it powers up and is at the main menu, there's a number at the top of the screen, that's the revision number... what is it?

are you using the lastest version of the dsdownloader??

did you install the drivers for the usb/serial cable?? the dsdownloader is able to find and connect to the predator??

I don't remember what revision it is, as after I tried sending the crom file for the first time and it said transfer failed, the device always says "this u7194 tool requires a CROM file before use." Yes, I am using the latest version of ds downloader. And yes, I did install the drivers for the usb/serial cable. Before, the ds downloader was able to connect to the predator, but now it is not.

If you are running Norton / Symantec you need to disable it.

Will this tuner work on a 14 ss cause I have it sitting around after I sold my 10 ss

Was this unit used on your 2010 model? If so did you put factory tune back on the 2010 model before you sold it(the car)? If not you will have to pay to get it unlocked.
