So i have read that people are dissapointed with the SS front Facsia and like the V6 one better. Can someone please show me the difference?

The fog lights are further apart on the V8. There is no mail slot on the V6.

Just look at any number of picture threads and you'll be able to spot the differences.

The lower front fascia has, as Blur stated, a larger opening, more spread apart fog lights, and the hood has the "mail-slot" on the SS.

The Halo headlights can be had on the SS, too. The car in this picture is equipped with the RS package.

Note that Dragoneye's LT picture has the RS package. Thus, the headlights are different than a base LS or LT. The LS headlights will look like the headlights in the SS picture. The RS package is only an option for the LT and SS trims.

Wow, after seeing the "side by side" or "top and bottom" views...

I think I like the SS fascia better! I like the smaller lower grile more than the SS...but I love the mail slot...and I like how the foglamps on the SS appear round whereas the concept and LT versions look "imperfect" because of the crease in the lower fascia.

Ok, but what's the difference in the rear between the LS/LT and SS? Oh, and just where are the brake cooling slots on the SS?

Quote:
Fascias: front and rear body-color, SS-specific, with unique front grille and rear diffuser, lower extension, front air scoop and brake cooling slots

Never mind on the rear differences. The SS clearly has more pronounced blades on the diffuser panel. Never noticed that before.

one of the biggest differences is that you can get a LT rear and front fascia in blue but you can't get an SS one in blue

sorry, had to say it... lol

As a future SS owner, this comparison of the front end makes me sad. I wish they just added a mailslot to the SS to differentiate the two different models. I know the difference would be more subtle, but the V6 front end (without the pushed out foglights and larger lower grill) is what the 5th gen should look like, period.
