camaro LS...anyway to get the fog lights everyone else has?

I REALLY WANT THEM! I should have gone with the LT, but how much would it cost to get the foglamps on my LS?

Not sure about how much they will cost you but on my car they are the day time running lamps not fog lamps (1LT RS). If you do not have them what are your day time running lights? I didn't realize that they did not come on the LS.

I've searched numerous threads and this question hasn't fully been answered.

The most common answer is that the BCM will not allow you to do it.

One thread had someone who installed them and "connected them to the side marker lights".

I asked for clarification on that but didn't see a reply.

I'd like to see a step by step answer to the question, if it is possible to add them.

I would check with AAC Lighting, I know they have some fog light solutions. You can probably talk to them.

On the RS package, since you have HIDs, the fogs have to be the DRLs. On the non-RS equiped vehicles (and LS), the halogens are the DRL's.

i have fogs in my LS, had a local accessory shop do them for me. They fit and look great, 275 installed. I have a nice looking thumb swich next to the headlight knob. I can turn them off and on manually, or just leave the switch on ,and they come on when i start the car, and go off when i cut the car off.

I see. Thanks for the info. I guess I'll have to pay more attention to the DRL's the next time I see a non-RS during the day.

I installed foglights on my LS. I ordered factory driving light lenses for an RS equipped car. They snapped right into the bumper and look just like they came from the factory. I connected them to the sidemarkers so they come on whenever the sidemarkers come on...look great

The two of you who added fogs to your LS's, can you elaborate more.

How was the switch installed in the dash?

How were they connected to the side marker lights?

Thanks,
