I presume the "LS" is for limited slip differentials. It has a "slippery" additive added. Should be ok for any differential.

Forget Mobil One and Switch to Amsoil. Checkout there web site it is very helpful. I think there Severe Gear has the additive in it, but check it out. Don't be afraid to call them either because you will get a Tech on the phone with answers.

If you read the bottle on mobil 1 is says speciall formulated for LS differentials and if you need additive that you still may need to add it in. That's why I didn't buy it. It was too confusing.
A V-6 auto has a regular diff and a V-6 manual has a LS diff if I'm correct. So you would put regular or synthetic 75w-90 gear lube in without any additive.

Yes severe gear already is LSD ready,,, if you are running higher horsepower and launching the car and racing, we reccomend 75W110 or 140 and we also have the additive for these
