Tic-toc console gauges

Is it true that the 4 "classic" first gen gauges only come on the 2SS package? TIA

2LT and 2SS only yes...

BUT they will be available as a part from the dealer for installation on any model.

Will the car be pre-wired for the gauges or will the dealership need to install the appropriate wiring/sensors?

I think they'd need to wire them, since the alternative to the gauges is a storage bin.

Actually they wiring harness is already in place, same with the sensors. The gauges just tie into the harness, but if not installed the plugs just get hidden behind panels.. this is almost the same with ALL factory options (fog lights, aux power outlets etc..) The reasoning is that you only need 1 harness then, you just don't install the additional hardware. this saves on costs because there is only 1 to keep track of for quality checks and installs.. no wrong part to install.

Hmm...that's interesting. So if you wanted to install the gauges sometime down the line, you could just remove the panel and plug them in?

It's cost effective to wire everything on every unit, regardless of actual options present.

Usually, these accessories will come with do-it-yourself instructions, including electrical connections.
