SCT Tuner problems, please help - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I finished installing a maggie on my Camaro. Prior to installing the magnuson tune from the SCT, I put the stock tune back in the car.
I previously had a Vector tune in the car. When I attempted to
install the tune from the SCT it would not unlock and read the
stock tune. It gave me a 1017 error message. Anybody have any
advice?

Check SCTs website I read in there how to get around that error

I followed the directions on the website, but it will not unlock the stock tune. Any
other suggestions?

call SCT customer service. They were helpful when I used them.
