confused on drag wheels
I seen from researching that 18x9.5 z06 c6 front wheels work on our cars for drag radials.
i have a set of 18 inch nt05r's and im looking for rims but the only offset i can find is 56mm or around there. Can anyone help me find the right wheels? are they from a certain year or what am i missing? it is confusing the heck out of me!! will 56mm or 54mm work or only 40? I dont want to use spacers or adapters.

Corvetteguys.com has them. I got a set there. I'd post a link but I'm on my phone. They are easy to find. Just search the c6 z06 and look for the 40mm offset.

The Z06 wheels that I posted the link to will bolt right up to your car. Thats what I ran on my first 10 second pass. They will work.

I had a set of 275/45/18 M&H racemaster drag radials and they hooked up great. There was no problem clicking off 1.60 60' with 550 rwhp time after time. I never drove them on the road so I can't comment on how long they would have lasted.

I drive those same tires and wheels 100 miles each way to the dragstrip with no problems. And i also get 1.64 60ft times.

I'm looking to get the z06 wheels + m&h dr's, I think I read somewhere that you need to tie the emergency brake line? Can you chime in?
Any feedback would be appreciated!! Thanks! |
