help choosing paint protection from dealer
hi
this is what he said: "The paint protection is XLION this requires no reapplication at any time an is guaranteed for 10 years. If the product fails it will be reapplied at no charge to you." thoughts?? |

DONT DO IT, youd be suprised what is hiding under all the "Filler" your dealer uses on the pre-delivery detail, heres my car, only a few weeks old at the time

If you don't mind spending "quality time" with your Camaro, I'd also recommend saying "no" to the dealers offer and saving yourself money by buying a good quality product(s) and doing the work yourself.

I lieu of the paint protection tell them to knock some more money off the price!! Its absolutely 100% a scam... no product holds up for 10 years and for the mostpart this super high tech paint protection they're offering you is the highschool kid in the back applying a coat of wax or sealant that you'd could've picked up yourself for about $20.
The guarantee is based on the fact that more people will sell, trade, or just not give a crap on or before the failing clear coat that was left unprotected starts to have issues. |
