Any of you guys good enough with vinyls to put on my stripes for me or possibly have a shop near Bakersfield you could recommend could help me out? I've got my red stripes showing up today or tomorrow and my hands are no where near steady enough to tackle laying them down myself. Let me know who's out there guys, thanks.

619 is San Diego. My guy up here put mine on for $100. He does good work. He is out of Fremont (Bay Area)

I used to tint windows, done a clear bra and helped my buddy vinyl his Pantoon boat. I would atempt it on my own car, but wouldn't want to be responsible for someone elses. I am sure there is someone near you that can hook you up. I don't think it would be too hard with soap and water mixture. Good luck and post pics.

Didn't help out too much man haha but hopefully someone near me will chime in and help me out. Don't want these stripes sitting in the garage forever. I will post pictures though after installed.

I know, sorry. How much did you pay for them? I would like to do a brushed nickle look on mine. Are your stripes going to go past the hood?

Sadly no, I wanted the ones that went down past the mailslot but got a good deal on these ones (just the regular rally stripes in red). I ended up getting them for $140 for the set which I thought was pretty good. A brushed nickle look for stripes would be awesome and definitely original.

Yeah man wish my hands were steady enough I'd just do it myself but no where close. My hands twitch like a little chiuaua in winter time!!

Haa nice! I know how bad that is. My Mother, Aunt and Sister all have Chihuahua's.

I did my spears, not too bad other than a wrinkle in one, but full stripes WOW I don't think I would feel that comfortable doing them.

Oh just as a little bit of info on this. While I was down there for the BBQ I stopped by 3way to ask them who did their vinyl installs, they said they did it themselves. Which sucks because they probably charge an arm and a leg to do it. Bakersfield has tons of custom car shop places you would think their would be someone in town.

Good luck I will ask my nephews if they know of any.
