Do Doug Thorley Headers come already coated? Or do they need to be sent somewhere to be coated after purchase?

I think the best help I could offer is to suggest tht you forget about the shorty headers cause they're about as good for increasing power and torque as an electric supercharger. I am making the assumption you want them for power gains.

NO, just for the sound. I will go for LT's after I near the end of the warranty.
This way I don't need to do a tune etc...



The only reason I am asking this question is that I ordered a set of the DT shorty's last Friday (6/10/10). I was told yesterday that they were not shipped yet, because they were not back from coating yet.

And FYI...yes Doug Thorley coats on both the inside and outside of all their Headers.

3mils inside, 5 mils outside. Lifetime warranty as well.
