Depends on your state for cost. Most DMV's have a website that you can key in what you want and see if its available.

Fees: Initial application $100 plus $8.50 filing fee .
Replacement fee is $14 for double plates, $10 for single plates.

During the renewal process when you enter your plate and last 3 of your vin:

Verify registration information and if you choose, purchase special plate from available selections.

You can probably type in plates there to see if they are taken, I don't have a Minnesota plate or car, so really can't tell, just reading off of their website. Just log in like you are going to renew your plate and see if you are able to.

Maybe try using the title lookup by plate. https://dutchelm.dps.state.mn.us/dvs...Title_main.asp

Mine were $50, with a $50 yearly renewal fee.

In Texas you can get them for 1 year, 5 years, or 10 years. It is good to note that the fee you pay is for use of the plates only. It does not cover the regular license fees and taxes you pay yearly. You will still pay for those.

In SC you get 3 choices in order.
If #1 & #2 are taken then you get your 3rd choice.
If all are taken then you submit three more choices.

I saw DBL QIK on a stock mustang GT the other day. I tried to ask him about it. I was in my 600plus whp C6 vette. I was wondering what was quick and what made it double quick.

I'm sorry but I just am not into the plates.
