18" drag radials

I just installed some 18" nitto but when I drove about a mile I had the stability trac and all the gauge lights come on If I turn the car off and let it sit and restart the car there are no lights an it starts normal. Anyone run in to this when they went to a smaller tire size?

I went to a shorter tire on the front and the same thing happened. The way the service manager at the dealer described it the stabilitrac is involved with the ABS and a bunch of other systems. The sensors in the tires are now reading they are going at different speeds which is tripping the stabilitrac.

IF your rear and front tires don't match respectively by size, your TC will go bonkers and you'll have to turn it off. Thats generally what you'll have to do with odd-sized drag radials for track trips.

I only use the 18's for racing on the back. I get about 5 minutes with nothing on the gauges except for the tc ans stability off if I do it right away.
