You can get the TPMS sensors for about $100 shipped....so that would take it to $1450 total. Offer him $1000 cash and he'll prob take it then you can buy your own sensors.

Not really, it's about $500 to much.
Look around in the for sale section here on the forums and ebay. You can find complete sets (rims, tires and sensors) fairly easy for $1,000 or just rims and sensors for $800. A couple weeks ago there was a few sets of rims and sensors on ebay for $600. |

It all depends on what you are comfortable paying. $1350 is high.....I didn't copy how close the guy is to you.....shipping is usually added too.
Offer the guy $900 or $1000 and see what he says. I got all four 2 months ago, local, for 1000 plus 100 for tps sensors. My guy originally had them for $1500 then dropped them to $1300 he took 1000. I was comfortable with the condition and price so for me it was a good deal. I personally went to the guys house and checked them before buying....the tires still had the stubs on them so very low miles. Now they are sitting in my garage for another couple thousand miles and I'll rotate them with the ones currently mounted. I see guys selling just the rims for about $175 to 200 each. So you can get just those for the 600 - 800 range with no tires. Just shop around. |
