So as i said how hard is it to learn to tune with EFILive or HP?

LS3 M6 camaro and i want to learn to tune with EFILive or HP.

Only for me so a hobby.

And when you think you got it....

Read some more.

Tuning and learning to tune is it's own animal in itself.....it takes alot and I mean alot of pratice, time and more practice to get it right, this isn't no hand held tuner...both EFI live and HP Tuners have hundred plus tables that can be adjusted to get a tune correct. It's all very overwhelming at first but like I said read and read some more, there are lots of books and forums out there that will help explain the basics of it.

Not terribly hard to learn to use the devices/programs...

To really know HOW to tune, though? Well enough to ensure you won't botch up your engine or make certain you've gotten the most you can get? You'll need lots of physics, a little chemistry, lots of experience, lots of time, and lots of patience.

Was thinking of taking a class in 3 weeks at EFILIVE i do know how to tune cars but not EFI cars so do you think that will help me understand the devices/programs so i can work on my cars.
