Judging by this article, Google and GM are in talks to use a mobile version of Android.

Call me nuts, but I am highly interested in the outcome of that since I have an Android phone and am considering a 5G/6G Camaro.

The people at Onstar are not smart enough to make this happen. let's face it, any company that won't sell an upgrade part to add a safety feature isn't smart enough to work with Google.
