So..uhmmm, question about the CEL
okay, so i was wondering, is their any harm from ignoring the CEL? like leave it as it is? or will it cause some damage?

Not sure, but apparantly on automatics,will cause the remote start to NOT function.

You will generally lose performance because the ecu goes to a safe mode to protect the engine. This is generally a very rich setting...
