Received my K&N cold air intake this weekend and just finished installing it...... After finishing I took it for a drive and it seemed remarkably responsive (maybe the placebo effect, who knows, but it seemed significantly faster). I'm very happy with the results and I like the extra bling under the hood. Check out the pics

Looks good. I Like that K&N moved the MAF further away from the Radiator and closer to the cooling fans.

Looks great, im really lovin my Typhoon aswell, i noticed a noticable diffrence for sure, paired with the Flowmaster axle-back system i had put on this week, its a w e s o m e

My Flowmaster axle back is being delivered Tuesday.... Installing it Wednesday

negative. just release the lock on the sensor to release it, and pull it out.

Nope... it says in the directions to disconnect the negative lead to the battery first (which I did) and then simply unlock the sensor and pull it out like FirstCamaro said. It's pretty simple, just follow the given instructions.

x2, i disconnected the neg battery terminal aswell, it said to, so i did, better safe than sorry. Very easy to do.

It's not. It's a short ram. Yes, it's pulling hot air from the engine bay, but more of it.
CAIs on the V6 are pretty much appearance and sound mods anyway. Not even the mighty Injen gains enough for it to really be considered "performance" IMO. For what I wanted out of the intake, it accomplished it in spades. It's much louder, deeper, and looks badass.
