I came up on an LS Camaro yesterday and really didn't know it was an LS until I spotted the wheels, but that didn't mater to me either way, we still gave each other the "thumbs up" as I passed them.
LS owners just have more money to spend on items for their car that THEY originally want, not what some dealership thinks they need. I bought the LT because it has JUST what I want in it, I didn't buy it to out do someone else or look down on someone else, I mainly bought it because IT IS A DAMN SEXY LOOKING CAR. I love seeing ANY 5th gen on the road basically because of the styling, I could give a RATZ AZZ about what is in it, because i know that no matter what is in it, it conforms to what the owner personally wants. This rat race society where everyone is trying to outdo the Joneses is really starting to make me sick. BE HAPPY AND THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE!

Never had any bad comments towards having an LS. It's a blank canvas waiting for an artistic touch.
I'll trade up sometime, but for the time being, I'll make do with what I have.

when i was buying my LS i didnt see a point in the 1lt model...cause why pay like $1500 more for pretty much foglights and 18 in aluminum wheels. you can buy an ls and put fogs and way better wheels then the 1lt's for less then 1500.

Here is what you do.... (i have never gotten the LS comment because i only had my steelies on for 300 miles)
First change your wheels, obviously. But if you like the steelies then you're going to want to bite your lip when you hear the comment. Take a deep breath, ball your hand into a fist, turn and walk away. Do this 10 times until you finally snap. Once you snap, go to jail for attempted murder. The lord givith and the lord takeith away but the Camaro just givith a stiffy
