On the bright, because it is a 4 wheel drive, I could drive it out when I got home. BUT AN ALL WHEEL DRIVE COULDN"T DO THAT! Therefore, I stand my ground, all wheel drive isn't worth it. Fortunately this teenager is going to Hawaii for college-one less kid on the car insurance. He will problably use a surfboard for the next 4 years!

Interesting if the Camaro has the AWD option. I want my RWD V8 (at $27,000 to $32,000) or

Found something, hopefully new to everyone.

We all suspected a hybrid, maybe it is going to happen for real.

Hadn't seen that video yet, but people have been talking about the possibility of a hybrid camaro for a little while now.

According to him the regulations say the vehicle that a manufacturer sells the most of must get over 30mpg by 2008, this year, and they also did some tweaking as to how the actual measurement of gas milage is figured out to make it more accurate. So basically, all a manufacturer has to do is make sure the vehicle it sells the most of gets 30mpg or more. So for Ford, all they would do is flood the market with Focuses to meet the regulation, and then the Mustang would be free to do as it pleases. I'm not sure how future regulations are going to affect everything, I'll ask him about that next time I see him, but for right now it seems the Camaro and other RWD cars should be safe with the correct marketing by a manufacturer.

^Well your friend has given you misinformation. It's called Corporate Average Fuel Economy; meaning the average fuel economy of a fleet of vehicles a particular automotive corporation produces. It has nothing to do with an individual model but rather the entire fleet.

Ethanol, from what i understand, has higher octane than gas. If cars would run on Ethanol... trust me these v8 engines would not lose that beautiful exhaust sound and still have that v8 power!!
But i dont hear that much about corn anymore...whats happening?....what about the corn?

It's become obsolete...like your computer from 3 years ago.
There are much more efficient, and practical ways to make ethanol - most noteably: Cellulosic Ethanol.
But, please - pop on over here, and discuss ethanol there
