HUD is a nice option, I've had it in the last few C5s, and C6s. But If it cost anything I don't think I'd order it other then for resale value. The "G" meter is kinda kewl, as well as the Nav data in the HUD but again I don't really ever even used it past the first month I got the car. Most of the time I have it dialed down anyway.

I would guess with some of the vets here, next model should have it, the 2011's.
Yes you can.........it might look like shit though. Guys used to do it with their grand prix's

I found my book. Here is what is said by Cheryl Pilcher in the book Camaro a Legend Reborn " We had it in but they went through a period of reducing part numbers so it was knocked out" "as it turns out the cost savings they thought were going to be there were not so it got back in though it won't be available until the end of calender year 2009"

So there you have it, straight from the boss.

By the way this book is excellent and a must have for anyone who is buying this car. I wish they would offer it signed by the design and engineering staff that created this masterpiece.

It wont happen for the '10 Camaros. They said initially that they would ba available in December but that is out of date info. They later pushed the date back to June 2010, or the beginning of the '11 model year. As for retrofitting it, it is perfectly possible. Most of the people who had Grand Prixs and broke a windshield had it replaced with a regular one and had no problems. The glass isn't different, they just have to be inspected to make sure there is no waviness in the glass where the reflection is or it could be blurry. Modern windshields don't generally have this problem so people could get away with adding it.
