Door Sill Opinions.

Hi Everyone,

First and Foremost, I hope everyone had a Great Easter!

I am looking to get Door Sills, but I want to see what everyone else has out there. Pictures are Preferred otherwise it's not very much help. Most companies that sell different door sills don't show them installed, so I'm hoping to see some nice installed ones.

I was looking at these different ones:

http://www.gmpartshouseusa.com/partl...catalogid=7587

http://rpidesigns.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=1889

http://emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/30/7958

I'm open to all opinions and ideas. I know Emblempros is a top notch company so I'm leaning towards those, but I don't know what to put on the Door Sills. I don't have a name for my car, so any opinions on that are welcome to, It's black with Green Accents.

Thanks in advanced for the opinions!

To me, door sills are door sills. How many people really look at them? Now, that being said. I have seen the lighted door sills from emblempros and they draw your eyes right to them. It's a subtle, but in your face, kind of mod.

I have custom sills from emblempros, not lighted... Black with white "DECEPTICON" on them.

I went with a pair of these...polished with the bowtie logo. (only because I already had Camaro and RS in a couple other places in the interior)

They are a nice thick piece of billet...lots of different styles and logo options...and $99 or less is hard to beat. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...let-and-Chrome

I have ones similar to the ones you listed from RPI designs. The only difference is that mine are all chrome. They didn't have the option of the black accents when I ordered, or I may have gone with that. Anyway, I really like mine. They may be more expensive than most, but they are a high quality, thick door sill that will hold up for quite a while.

I posted up about my little "homemade" sills project a few days ago but will again FWIW. Not to cheap out but I didn't want to spend $85-$125 or more for sills so I got some blank aluminum ones from a seller on ebay, some Camaro decals from a different one, clear coated the combined results and installed them. The chrome/red combo go well with the chrome/red RS emblems on the front & back of my 1LT RS. Like I said then, I know I'm biased, but I think they turned out nice. Oh yeah, total expenditure for everything: about $25!

Late Model Restoration. Nicest one's I've seen and I always get compliments. They are a VERY nice & noticeable mod whenever people get in my car (for whoever said "Sills are Sills")

Hmmm, AAC, if I ever come across a huge amount of money, I'm just dropping my car off to you and letting you go hog-wild!
