Has anyone else looked into painting their INJEN tube and bottle.

I am part way thru this under hood cosmetic project now.

Thank - you, I have a touch up paint kit. It has a roller tip like a pen. Or you can unscrew the cap and it is a brush like a nail polish bottle. Just took my time and painted the top edge.

Ebay less than 15 bucks to the house. Bought it for touch ups, used it for this project too.

would you think the flat black intake would be easier to paint then the chrome one?

do you think that the tube will get much hotter with the paint on

Probably would be, easier to paint.

Not really sure, but didn't really care either. Wanted the look of orange now. Going with black and orange them under the hood, not chrome.

that looks great, I don't care for shiny stuff under the hood either.

Looks good man. My tube is painted, but I left the bottle unpainted. Like the looks of the black bottle, but more importantly I like the cap. Where did you get it? I'm really tired of the stock one popping off. (sorry if you posted this somewhere else).

I will. I am waiting on a couple more parts and the weather to turn warm again so I can finish this project.

Thank - you. I didn't like the white bottle anymore, when everything is black and orange. This aluminum billet cap is a tight squeeze over the plastic bottle. Perfect. I never filled the bottle after the initial time last year and don't expect to fill it more than once a year. This is just a slip fit over the bottle, but a TIGHT slip fit.

haha wow... I want to do that to the washer bottle now =/ Did you sand and prime the surface first? Cuz If I recall the bottle is a bit glossy.

No sanding. Only shot it with some adhesion promoter, flat black paint. I now have a coat of clear over the top which is not seen in the photo. So far so good.

Here is everything back under the hood. Not completed yet, Still need a coat of clear on the tube, will update again once the weather warms up again and I can finish this project. Also, waiting on 2 other items for under the hood.
