Got Mullet?

I thought we'd get this mullet thing cleared up once and for all.

I'm obviously not familiar enough with the Camaro heritage. Can someone explain where the Mullet stigma comes from? Is there some movie reference, or something?

BTW military cut.

It's a stereotype. "All Camaro owners are booger-pickin', wife-beater wearin', mullet stylin', trailer park livin' rednecks."

The redneck term is especially derogatory, but accepted, as it's against whites. Akin to calling a black man a n*gger.

All long. But tie the top back and rock the faux-mullet sometimes!(would that be Segall?)

I guess what I mean is why is the Camaro considered a mullet wearing, redneck mobile, how did the two become associated?

No but i'll grow one!

Plus i'll probably be driving a crashed one from Avis that I fixed up with 3 colors primer on top of some bondo and some muffler eliminators.

Fire for effect!

Because back in the "muscle car era" the guys that drive mustangs needed to feel good about themselves after losing races so they resorted to name calling.

Fast forward to today, its the same situation. Everybody with a Mustang GT with CAI and exhaust thinks its the fastest thing around so when they lose, they resort to name calling. I think it is handed down from generation to generation.

(Disclaimer: This is just a joke. I know somebody will take offence, but it is JUST A JOKE. I actually like mustangs, I try to find one every time my back itches and I cant scratch it.)

Don't forget you have to have louvers on the rear window and a bra to go with the mullet.

Normal cut. But heck yeah red-neck Alabama boy here. Now the fact I live in a 2 story house, have 3 kids, know who there mom is, still married to her and live on a golf coarse may hurt my red-neckism just a little.
