I had the same problem as well. Went to the dealer and finally discovered that GM had put out a service bulletin to the dealers not to replace pads, etc. due to the squealing. I solved my issue...

I had to remove the bumper (I did not want to do any cutting).
actually I did not have to take the bumper all the way off, just enough to slide the camera into the slot. Hope this helps.
