Curb Rash Erase

I scraped my pasenger side front wheel on the curb the other day. Unfortunately, it was going to cost me a little over a hundred bucks to have it professionally repaired. So, I did some searching on the internet for DIY pointers. For around $10 in materials (I already had the Scratch X & wax), this is how it turned out:

Here is the procedure I used:

1. Use Wet-Dry Sand Paper (by hand), Progressing from Coarser to Finer (use a spray bottle to apply plenty of water during sanding):
- 220 Grit
- 800 Grit
- 1000 Grit
- 2500 Grit
2. Steel Wool (Fine)
3. Apply Meguiar’s Scratch X 2.0. I ended up making 3 applications of Scratch X.
4. Wax (I used Meguiar's Gold Class Carnuba, but any good quality wax should work).

The whole procedure took me about 3 hours.
