Lawdogg149 has already dyno'd the stock vs muffler delete in the thread above.
There does look like there is a dip in the low end of the torque curve.
However, I don't see the stock run to compare.
thanks. I followed that and other MUFF delete threads before doing it...
which is why I am even more surprised that i am feeling less grunt.

i am using the only station within driving distance that carries non-ethonol gas... 93 proof. (lucky for me it is on the way to work) i'm on my 2nd tank of it.

i think that i must just be "afraid" that i hurt my baby!

i REALLY REALLY wish i had dynoed it before and after... but the closest one i know of is 1.5hrs away

Windshield=10" vertical
mirror= 3 7/8" (that's almost 4") vertical
that means that the mirror is 38.75% the size of the vertical windshield...
it sure seems like the ratio could be better... just sayin....

on a Manual SS:
cats are at the front of the system (untouched)
resonators (look like glasspacks) are right under driver/pass seats (untouched)
mufflers are in the last 2 foot of the system at the back.
Hack them off and replace with pipe and your stock tips or use MagnaFlow 35136 (they look identical to stock pluss rolled edge)

hope this helps!

Has anyone done the muffler delete on the L99? If so, how does it sound, especially when the AFM kicks in?
