20 lbs of boost and you would probably be seeing more problems then just CR issues - blown internals, anyone? Nah, I plan on doing an STS remote twin turbo (gotta make use of those fender gills somehow, right?) @ 5 psi some day. I think it'll be enough to net me as much power as I want (I'm shooting for a 13 second ET) while still running 87 gas on stock internals.

I totally agree... if only we could convince the people in the 'Turbo vs. Supercharger' thread in the v8 section, they're all caught up on 'turbo lag'

I believe I haven't looked at that thread in a long time. The only people who believe in turbo lag are ones who've never actually ridden in a modded turbo'd car before.

Yea, but if it's anything like emissions equipment on most of GM's newer cars, if you remove those cats you're going to throw a CEL. Worst case scenario the car goes into "limp mode" (as with the Cobalt's) and shuts down about half its power.

Can't you get a tune for them? With a Mustang you can just have it ignore those sensors or get mil eliminators.

I plan on just swapping the cats with magnaflow OEM style high-flow replacements - if I have to buy four instead of two, so be it. Then after the flowmaster mufflers, it'll just be a matter of deciding whether I want to leave the stock resonators in place, replace them with glass packs, or just delete them entirely.
