WHy would you be revving the car so high in neutral? I've always heard that's bad for a motor. As long as it revs appropriately in gear, it should be OK.

RPMs
Seems like it could use a few hundred more RPMs when speed shifting, hit the limiter the first time I tried it. I think part of the problem is the gearbox itself. Even with the Husrt short throw shifter it's not the quickest shifting trans I've driven.

So I spoke to one of the engineers from the Milford proving grounds, and turns out that the pushrods are the weak point in the stock LS3. If it goes much over the limiter there is a good chance that the pushrods will fail/bend.
