What is it with manufacturers going back to the "lock knob" on top of the door? I hated that back then. I can't tell you how many times I would hit my elbow on those stupid things.

Our '08 Enclave has them (although they are about as far back as you can get, so I don't hit my elbow on them) and now this pic shows the Camaro has them too? It looks so much better to have the "lock knob" as a toggle switch/button/lever on the door panel with the windows/lock control (yes, I know the lock control appears to be in the center of the console (another stupid design in my opinion)).

Minor nitpick, yes, I know, but still, just something I don't like. I'm still getting one, and probably with the sunroof. Not 100% sure on that, but more than likely.

Question to all those that have a sunroof but rarely use it.

Why? It's there. Use it. LOL

I have mine at least popped up ALL THE TIME. Only time I don't is when the AC is on. I even keep it open when it's cold out and the heat is on. I like fresh air.

Even if it's raining I open it. Nothing gets in unless it's a total downpour.

No sunroof... as stated above the reverse mohawk is sexy and adds to the menacing look of the car. Also won't get the sunroof because that is going to impact my already valuable headroom (at 6'-7", I don't want anything to rob me of my head space).

I'd take it either way, but mine was requested without a sunroof.

Sunroof is a must for me. I've had a sunroof car for 9 years. Didn't think I needed it at the time I bought it, but I got it anyway. Now, I will never own another car without one.

One of the best things about the sunroof is that, if the sun is out on a somewhat chilly day, you can open the roof, keep the windows closed, turn on the heater and direct it to the floor, and be comfortable and enjoy the sun even if it's October or November.

The only times I keep the roof closed besides inclement weather is if it's blistering hot and humid. Then of course it's A/C time. But other than that, the sky is my ceiling

No Sunroof

All my muscle cars have solid roofs. They just look more muscular that way.

I'm waiting to see if a sunroof will be available on the LS...I bet not! I don't care one way or another.... I like the car so much, that I just don't care! I did want it to be a pillarless hartop, but that's another discussion for another day.

While on the subject, why should we keep calling it the reverse mohawk. Sure it looks like the guy from Prodigy's hair do, but why not go ahead and call it a Mullet? That's technically the hair equivalent to the said mohawk.

We can get technical about and stick with reverse mohawk. I'll try mullet for a change. After all, it is a Mullet-mobile right?

I gotta have my Hawk! I'm also concerned about the additional weight it WILL add. My other concern is when I start adding more power, with a unibody set up the roof is a major structual area. I don't want to add a cage so I'm not going to have a hole in one of the main ares of support.

We aren't sure on the sunroof or not. I've liked them in the cars we've been in, but that reverse mohawk looks good too. We'll probably wait to see it in person.
