You lost me there a little near the end.

I guess I could take a look at them and see if I could wire shut in dire situation if I’m getting flagged.
If you get black flagged your session is done.
3 Black Flags your booted from the event.
I should get 5/6 sessions fall goes well.
I won’t be back to Laguna Seca as I have mods coming right after this event.

If you're running stock exhaust, not sure why there would be any issues with noise.

I have the NPP exhaust. Fuse pulled so always open.
Even then ecu would open at 3500 rpm.

I running a track that has max dB level of 90/92.
Laguna Seca is a Very Strict expensive track
Our Camaro are 95-99db from what I’m hearing.

OK, in the name of science (and an excuse to play with two 500HP cars) I performed my extremely unscientific phone app sound check using my cat-less '03 Z06 w/headers and my unmodified Z/28. The results at 50ft: Z06-76.8db, Z/28-75.6db. I mounted my phone on a camera tripod and measured 50ft from the middle of the lane (90 degrees). I made two passes with each vehicle in second gear @ 6000 RPM. Maybe some of my fellow race fans can try a few tests of their own. Don't worry, I'm sure the neighbors won't mind. If anyone complains blame it on Covid.

Way to take it to the streets Arizona28. Seems like it will pass easily with your data.

I have a 1SS with NPP and I installed a three way switch to put the NPP on 1) factory, 2) open all the time, 3) closed all the time. I have TSP headers, straight pipe to the exhaust. I did the switch to be courteous of the neighbors when I start up at 5 am. Also if I ever move to an area that checks the db I can close it should be safe. When I get out of the neighborhood, I flip it to open. Simple to install.

Yeah i think there’s an easy diagram somewhere.
Do you have the simple diagram?
I have long tube headers catless midpipe w/tune on the way.
I got lucky to get this cheap track day for Laguna I couldn’t pass up.

Wow thats really surprising. I thought for sure you would be in the mid to high 90’s.

Ill keep everyone posted what happens next Sunday.
If i make it to 4th session no issues by letting off ill rip it full throttle. See what happens.

I also did the 3 way, no LT's yet but does help a ton when cold starting out front your infants window....

Here is what you're looking for :

https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=318683

I did it like 3 years ago, maybe took an hour or two? Hardest part was finding where I was mounting my 3 way switch, ended up doing it in the driver's seat near the door.

Thats it.

I bought a round 3 way switch. I plan on putting it where my cigerette lighter hole is in center console.

I thought the numbers would have been higher too but keep in mind that I measured it @ 50ft. There is also a "calibration" step with the app that is rather vague. The interesting thing is that both cars measured very close even though to my ear the Vette is louder, more raspy. I forgot about the chart noted by Camaro2SS, I'll try that method at a later date. I did a little research and it seems that Laguna limits are 90 db @ 50 ft so you should be ok.
