A way to tell if you need the fuse pull looking at timing?

This question is for people who know what the timing tables look like. (I have the LS3)

Today I was thinking about an old Diablosport predator tuner that I have in my closet. Sold the truck it was for and it is now useless except to read codes and live data, which works on any OBD II GM vehicle.

With the live data view, you can see the spark advance, so my question is this: Could someone look at the spark at say WOT and tell which timing table you are on, (high or low octane) just to know for sure?

I have tried the fuse pull after running out the first tank and refilling with 93, didnt notice any difference. That's fine with me and I love my car. Just with people questioning the quality of gas at one station or the other, it might be nice to know for sure which timing table your car was using.

Would be good for verification but I'll GAURANTEE you'll find it sparking faster.

Yea the spark would be advanced more, but the main question is, can someone like me tell from generic info like: "If you see about 20 degrees it is low octane, or ~30 degrees is high octane"

Ofcourse I am just pulling those numbers out of my rear. I dont know if there are too many variables to tell someone "you should be seeing this many degrees of timing." Maybe the difference is so close that it would be hard to tell.
