Is the Camaro the one?
I can remember when I was younger my father always told me about his old cars. How he wished he never got rid of them. I am sure some of you out there know what I am talking about. Well I am 28 and have owned a few cars. None that I would say I wish I would never have gotten rid of that car. So my question is. Is the Camaro an instant Classic? A car that will live the test of time, like the older Camaro's and all older Muscle cars? I know what this car means to me and I think I know now what those older cars meant to my father and people who love cars.

Yep. I haven't even bought one yet...and I know if I do, I won't ever be able to sell it/trade it. It doesn't matter how much better future cars get (and they will)...it's the one.

My first car, that sits in our barn waiting to be fixed up again is 'the one' (1967 mustang gt s-code). But the camaro is the first car I will have ever owned outright so will always hold a special place in the heart, and I doubt I will ever get rid of it.

I think I'll be keeping this one a long, long time - provided its style is a timeless as I think it is now and that it doesn't end up looking as dated as the 4th generations look today.

It's all in the eye of the beholder. I feel love now for cars I did not like that much when I owned them.

My Camaro has not arrived yet, maybe by the end of next week, but it already has a special story behind it which means I'll never sell it.
I've informed my close friends and my sister on the reason why this Camaro, Elaine, has increased value. Therefore, I could never part with my Camaro. This is the one.

Mine will be a lifer. I have owned a several Camaros in the past and regret letting the last one go. Though the 2010 is probably the ultimate so far. I will always have a special attachment to the 2nd gens. Most folks don't like the ones with the battering ram bumpers. But, they were tough as nails. I slid into a concrete wall one cold morning, in an underground parking garage in Dallas. Barely tapped it and just scuffed the rubber insert on the bumper. The 2010 would completely cave in if that happened to it. Lovin the 5th gen but, they don,t make em like they used to.
