Possibly but I think a little bit higher then that. With the expected price ranges for the options that GM has given us, I expect a LT2/RS to be between 4-5k more then a LT1. IF a LS starts around $21-$22k then I think the LT1 will be 1-2k more bringing it to $22-$24k making the LT2/RS somewhere between $26-$29k.

Well I hope that the sales person goes throughly informative about the cars features so that just saying " gt=28k and ss=32k, I want money in my pocket so gt it is" NO Im sure that if the sales person does a good job in explaning its features and about it competition and why its a better choice and for such a low price.

You guys kill me. Every one keep trying to guess on the price when every one roles back around to the same price brackets. The LS-2SS, $22-$37k So there is about an estimated 15k diff from bottom of the barrel to the crown jewels. So I would think we could all agree and just weight till the price is announced. I want to know the price my self but don't make my head hurt for nothing I cant solve or fix. Guys I understand every one wants to get there moneys worth here, so just select what you want to get and when prices come out and you find you cant afford what you selected or you can get a little more then adjust. That is a very easy solution.

the point of this thread is to speculate and listen to everyones ideas and form a common opinion on the ss pricing. if we all new the exact pricing there would be no discussion thus this thread would be worthless

OK I can understand speculating on the price. That is all fine and well, but there have been at least 10-12 different threads all related to price guessing that say the same thing. My point is this guess at the price but don't flood the whole area of the forum with different thread titles that wind up being repetitious of the same old info or in this case speculation. That's all.

Well...about a year ago...the first IVER and/or prototype pictures came out as they were testing the car all over the globe. And after drooling over all the concept pictures for a year before that...we get this:

Name: car_photo_246378_25 copy.JPG
Views: 370
Size: 113.8 KB

Naturally, most of the Camaro community went NUTS. "Are those the production headlights?" "I'm not buying this car if those are the headlights." "GM those headlights suck, and you suck for using them." "I hate those headlights." "What happened to the Halo headlights?" "The car looks like CRAP now!!" "ooh, snow" "Are those the real headlights?" and on, and on, thread after thread...in time, all was calmed, Scott made MULTIPLE posts reassuring everyone that those are NOT the production headlights. Which spawned our own gtahvit to create this smilie (found in any good Camaro-adoring site -- it actually has traveled the internet, really cool):

:notheadlights:

...in retrospect, it all was pretty funny...

2 SS Price

Whats up? I've been coming on here and reading through the forums for quite a long time and finally decided to sign up.

Anyway, any estimates on how much the first group of 2SS's will go for? I want to get a silver 2SS with black racing stripes and the RS appearance package. How much do you think it'll go for?
